Neurology - Assistant Professor

Job Duties

• Evaluation, work up and management of patients as part of the neurology floor service at BSLMC.
• Serve as Service Chief of the Floor Service at BSLMC.
• See patients at the McNair campus when not on inpatient service.
• Supervise neurology residents and medical students rotating at the Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center.
• Include history-taking, physical examination, write-ups and plan of care for patients in the neurocritical care unit and stroke service.
• Provide clinical care of adult patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD.
• Hold or able to obtain a Texas medical license.
• Successfully completed residency training in adult neurology in an ACGME-accredited program.
• Board-eligible/board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Experience in clinical settings may also be considered.
