Neurology Advanced Practice Provider
About the Role
The APRN - NP Specialty provides primary or acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in Neurology in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. We will also consider a Physician Assistant for this role.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree required in Science, Nursing, or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty (American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) preferred).
- BLS provider certification required.
- ACLS, NRP, EFM, and PALs required for some departments.
- Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain as required.
- Minimum of two years recent and relevant nursing experience preferred.
All qualifications above are subject to grandfathering by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
