Neurologist, Stroke - Assistant Professor

About the role

The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a dynamic and board certified / board eligible Neurology Stroke Specialist MD/DO to join our rapidly growing team. MCW/Froedtert Hospital is one of only three Comprehensive Stroke Centers in the state.

Responsibilities

• Top national performer in door-to-needle time
• Diverse patient population
• Flexible week by week call schedule with in-house resident coverage
• Extensive investments in the Neuroscience Institute
• ACGME-accredited neurovascular fellowship program, CAST accredited Neurointerventional program, UCNS accredited Neurocritical Care program
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participation in clinical research and community engagement
• Engage with providers in emergency medicine, neuropsychology, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry, neuro-imaging, pathology, and ophthalmology
• Perform other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Board Certification or eligibility in Vascular Neurology
• State medical licensure or eligibility to obtain license in the state of Wisconsin

• Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist
