Position Overview

Capital Health Medical Group is seeking a Neurologist - Movement Disorder Specialist to join their dedicated team. Capital Health serves a diverse patient population across central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA. Our two-hospitals health system, with locations in urban Trenton and suburban Hopewell, provides care to patients from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. We care for a wide range of individuals, including underserved communities, urban populations, and suburban families. Our services cater to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric care, ensuring comprehensive medical services across the lifespan.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Neurology Residency Completion
  • Completion of Movement Disorders fellowship

Opportunity Details

  • Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient’s history, examining them and conducting neurological tests
  • Consulting with patients on aftercare and long-term health management strategies
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatments or medication as needed
  • Prescribing treatments or medication best suited to improve the patient’s condition
  • Ordering tests and interpreting results to determine the best treatment options
  • Keeping accurate patient medical records; completing all necessary documentation to allow for timely and efficient billing and claim submittal
  • Attending training and seminars to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in neurology
  • Participating in on-call schedule in a responsive and timely manner

  • Frequent physical demands include: Standing, Walking, Bending, Reaching forward, Wrist position deviation, Pinching/fine motor activities, Keyboard use/repetitive motion
  • Occasional physical demands include: Sitting, Climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders), Carry objects, Push/Pull, Twisting, Reaching overhead, Squat/kneel/crawl, Taste or Smell
  • Continuous physical demands include: Talk or Hear
