Neurologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

Position Overview: This inpatient neurology role involves providing 24-hour call coverage at a 172-bed acute care hospital. The neurologist will manage adult inpatient neurology triage, consults, and stroke calls, primarily remotely, with occasional on-site evaluations. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive neurological care across two facilities, handle urgent cases during structured shifts, and coordinate with support staff such as RNs. Responsibilities include managing adult patients, covering neurology emergencies, and ensuring smooth patient transfers when necessary. Qualifications & Skills: Board certification in Neurology is mandatory. Candidates should possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple sites. Key Duties: Manage inpatient neurology cases, provide timely consults, respond to stroke calls, and work collaboratively with support staff. Most duties are performed remotely, with flexibility for in-person evaluations as needed.
