Neurologist

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Neurologist (MD or DO) to join a reputable neurology and sleep medicine practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive neurological evaluations, including histories, examinations, and diagnostic interpretation
• Diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions such as headache disorders, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, stroke, and cognitive disorders
• Developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Collaborating with sleep specialists, behavioral health providers, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educating patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options
• Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Staying current with emerging research, technologies, and best practices in neurology

Qualifications & Skills

• MD or DO from an accredited institution; board-certified or eligible in Neurology
• Completion of an accredited neurology residency
• Unrestricted U.S. medical license (Virginia license preferred)
• Experience evaluating and managing neurological conditions; familiarity with advanced diagnostics preferred
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
