Job Summary

As our Neurointerventional Radiologist, you will diagnose and treat complex vascular diseases of the brain, spine, and central nervous system using cutting-edge, minimally invasive, image-guided techniques. You will play a critical, often life-saving, role within our stroke center, providing 24-hour call coverage for emergent neurological conditions. Every day you will perform intricate endovascular procedures for acute strokes, cerebral aneurysms, AVMs, and other vascular pathologies, leveraging advanced imaging to guide precise interventions. Your work directly impacts neurological outcomes, supported by robust organizational resources that enable you to focus on high-stakes patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform minimally invasive, image-guided endovascular procedures for brain, spine, and CNS vascular diseases (e.g., strokes, aneurysms, AVMs, carotid disease).
  • Provide critical 24-hour call coverage for acute neurological emergencies within our stroke center.
  • Utilize advanced imaging (neuroangiography, CT, MRI) to precisely guide complex interventions.
  • Administer comprehensive patient care from pre-procedure evaluation through post-procedure management and critical care.
  • Adhere to AMA medical ethics and relevant specialty board standards.
  • Leverage our Physician Group's comprehensive resources (supply chain, tech trainers, credentialing, etc.) to optimize physician efficiency and focus on patient care.

Requirements

  • Doctorate MD or DO required.
  • Successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) registration;
  • Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
  • Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution.
  • DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required.
  • Strong critical thinking, manual dexterity, and ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced emergency environments.
