Neurohospitalist - Hampden/Holy Spirit Hospital | Penn State Health
Neurologists with clinical expertise in General Neurology are invited to apply for an open Neuro hospitalist position at Penn State Health community hospitals.
About the role
The schedule is 7-on-7-off at one hospital location per day (Hampden or Holy Spirit) with in-person neuro consultations. This role does not include acute stroke duties or telemedicine requirements. Candidates should possess EEG reading skills for routine EEG.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-person neuro consultations at Hampden or Holy Spirit Hospital
- Read routine EEGs
Requirements
- Medical degree – MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Excellent patient care abilities and interest in teaching
- EEG reading skillset
