About the role

This role involves practicing big-city medicine in a small-town setting, collaborating with multiple specialists, and providing access to advanced treatments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with 1 additional inpatient neurologist and 2 outpatient Neurologists.
• Work closely with primary care providers, other specialties, and support staff.
• Participate in consultative services including stroke management.
• Engage with ICU providers and Hospitalist teams.
• Read EEGs as part of the clinical routine.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule that supports both clinical and personal life.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school.
• Residency trained in Neurology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Active, unobstructed Montana medical license or the ability to obtain one.
• Passionate about Neurology and inpatient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing complex neurological cases.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR system.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in clinical decision-making.
• Ability to manage time effectively.

Pay

$412,750 for fellowship-trained positions, with incentives including a $25,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation bonus, and up to $100,000 student loan repayment bonus.

Schedule

The position is a shift-based role with a weekly schedule of 40 hours.

Location

The role is located at St. Vincent Regional Neuroscience Center in Billings, Montana.
