Monument Health Rapid City Hospital is looking for a full-time Neurohospitalist. This is a fulfilling hospital-employed position in a collegial group environment, with an emphasis on work-life balance. This physician will work 182 shifts annually at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital, which is a 417-bed tax-exempt regional tertiary referral, Level II Trauma Center with a medical staff of almost 500 providers. Generally, 2 Neurohospitalists are on service at a time, alternating night call and stroke call. Supported by excellent 24/7/365 Neurointerventional and neurosurgical services. Consulting service only — all patients are admitted to the hospitalist or intensivist services. EEG reads done by Epileptologists in less than 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Work 182 shifts annually at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital
• Join a well-established inpatient group practice
• Work 10 hours on site, 14 hours of call coverage
• Consulting service only — all patients are admitted to the hospitalist or intensivist services
• EEG reads done by Epileptologists in less than 24 hours

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Neurology
• Vascular or other fellowship training a plus, but not required
