Neurodiagnostic Technologist

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist applies EEGs, conducts neurodiagnostic studies, and performs basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting following facility policies. Only candidates with prior independent EEG Tech experience will be considered. They are responsible for preparing patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation of test results. The role involves performing various EEG types, adhering to infection control, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Qualifications include a Certificate of Completion or Associate’s Degree in Neurodiagnostic Tech, or relevant experience, with BLS certification within 30 days. Key skills encompass organizational ability, effective communication, adaptability, technical proficiency, and teamwork. Additional duties include equipment cleaning, patient history documentation, and assisting with neurodiagnostic tests.
