Neurodiagnostic Technologist Assistant

Responsibilities

The Clinical Neurodiagnostic (CND) Assistant will support specific clinical neurophysiology areas within the Department of Neurology. These areas include Autonomics, Electroencephalography (EEG), Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), Neurology Gait Lab, Interoperative Neurophysiology Monitoring (IONM), and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). The CND assistant will be cross trained in multiple areas of the practice based on departmental need.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year of patient care experience required or current student in the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Clinical Neurophysiology Technology Program
  • Computer skills including Windows based applications
  • Ability to navigate through multiple applications and platforms with ease

Preferred Experience

  • Roles such as desk operations specialist, nursing assistant, patient care assistant, procedural support assistant, or licensed practical nurse
  • Previous experience in Neurology preferred
  • Proficiency with electronic health records preferred

Compensation Detail

$19.43 - $26.44 / hour

Schedule

Part Time
Days- Monday through Friday.
Hours- Vary Typically 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
Flexibility- Start and end times may vary based on laboratory staffing needs, workload demands, and operational requirements.
