Job Summary
We are seeking a(an) Neurodiagnostic Technician II for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.
Qualifications
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS certification from AHA or ARC required. Must be ABRET EEG registered.
- Knowledge/experience in neurophysiologic testing including evoked potentials.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Electro neurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training. Some college level work is preferable.
- Experience: 2 years minimum experience in Neurodiagnostic technology (may include time spent in training).
Responsibilities
- Performs EEGs in the laboratory and at the bedside of critically ill patients in the intensive care units.
- Performs Ambulatory EEG recordings and electrocerebral silence tracings.
- Performs intensive neurodiagnostic monitoring (INDM) of patients in the epilepsy center.
- Performs evoked potential recordings.
- Aids physicians in EMG, NCV, and TCD studies.
- Shares an on-call rotation with other staff for emergency studies.
