About the role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. The CNC collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. They reflect core values when interacting with co-workers, patients, family members, and others in the community to foster an environment where employees are engaged and where patient care is unparalleled.

- Assists with staff scheduling.
- Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
- Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Supports the mission and vision of the Methodist Healthcare System.
- Understands and is committed to helping the Methodist Healthcare System and its associated facilities achieve its goals.
- Must learn and comply with System and facility safety policies and rules; must use appropriate safety equipment and procedures at all times; must immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features of equipment, tools or materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisors (prior to job performance) if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.

- Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing required.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year working as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- 3 years of RN experience in an acute neuro setting setting preferred.
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse required. If Compact RN license, must have TX RN license within 90 days of hire.
