Neuro-Oncology Physician

About the role

As our Neuro-Oncology Physician, you will join a dynamic healthcare team providing care to patients across the Puget Sound region. Our well-established Tacoma and Seattle hospital locations offer nationally recognized providers who focus on complex procedures to serve surrounding communities. You will join a team of specialists dedicated to excellence, including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Surgical Oncology services that collaborate on personalized and coordinated cancer care.

You will work alongside local and regional cancer care specialists to improve quality, enhance patient experience, and advance clinical standards. Daily responsibilities include providing compassionate and expert care through thorough assessments, individualized treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with a wide variety of diseases
• Offer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community services
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
• Stay current with research and best practices in Neuro-Oncology to provide evidence-based care
• Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness of cancer care and blood disorder issues

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified Neurology (ABPN)
• ACGME Accredited Neurology Residency
• Fellowship Trained in Neuro-Oncology
• Active Washington State Medical License, or eligible for licensure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all patients and families

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years experience following training
• EPIC Experience

Pay

$360,667 – $450,000 / year
