Neuro Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

About the role

The Neuro Oncology APP at Saint Luke's Hospital at Plaza is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, working 4 ten-hour shifts per week. There are no weekends, holidays, or call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes client health data to identify appropriate expected outcomes.
• Develops and implements a plan of care.
• Provides comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management.
• Consults to influence the plan of care for clients.
• Enhances the abilities of others and effects change within the system.
• Uses prescriptive authority procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Evaluates clients' progress in attaining expected outcomes.
• Provides education to patients, their families, and nursing staff.
• Manages high-risk patients.

Requirements

• Applicable experience: Less than 1 year.
• Advanced Practice Provider Certification (MO/KS).
• Variety of Basic Life Support certifications from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certificate from Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
• Master's Degree.
