Neuro Med Patient Care Tech - Full Time Nights

About the Role

Provides direct patient care to support licensed nurses, ensuring a safe environment and reducing the risk of harm. Collects vital signs, reports patient status changes, and assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Acts as a 1:1 safety sitter if needed and helps with patient and family education.

Responsibilities

• Implements patient care activities under supervision, including vital signs, intake/output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention, urinary catheter care, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.
• Ensures availability of supplies and documents care accurately.
• Participates in safety and quality initiatives.
• Supports professional development and contributes to a healing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience preferred, especially in CNA, PCT, Nurse Assistant, EMT, or Surgical Tech roles.
• Certifications such as CNA are advantageous.
