Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist
About the role
This position is for a Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing advanced diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including neurovascular interventions, cerebral angiography, and complex procedures like aneurysm coilings and stent placements. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensuring quality control across modalities such as Siemens Fluoro units, GE Ultrasound, and Epic systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, high-tech environments.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development programs.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Trade School Equivalency or higher education.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Experience is welcome but not required; new grads and students encouraged to apply.
- Preferred certifications include MRI, CT, MR, CVIT, and specialized interventional radiology credentials.
- CPR and IV therapy certifications are advantageous.
