Network TV Reporter (CBS expert)

This is a paid freelance and remote position with ScreenRant, the #1 entertainment website publishing up-to-the-minute news on blockbuster movies, TV shows, video games, comic books, music, and other forms of entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Write articles per week in ScreenRant's house style (following requisite training and peer mentorship period), including fact-checking, formatting, linking, and image sourcing/basic editing (sizing, brightness, etc.)
• Cover FBI, CIA, NCIS franchise, Sheriff/Fire Country, Boston Blue, and Tracker
• Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas
• Accept and apply feedback from the editorial team
• Communicate openly and actively with the editorial team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience working with a credible digital publication
• Passion for the content and drive to grow within the industry
• Ability to cover new & upcoming TV shows on ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX networks
• Sharp eye for grammatical details and excellent command of the English language
• Ability to write high-quality articles with swift turn-around times
• Comfortable working in an entirely virtual environment
