Network Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Data Product Ownership & Strategy
• Act as the Data Product Owner for all network-related data assets including: Inventory, performance, faults, configuration, capacity, security, and cost.
• Define and execute the Network Data Tower roadmap aligned with enterprise data strategy.
• Own the lifecycle of network data across: Source systems (NMS, ITSM, CMDB, SD-WAN, Cloud, Telco platforms), Consumption layers (dashboards, APIs, analytics, AI/ML models).
• Data Modeling & Standards
• Define and maintain the Network Data Model, including: Standard KPIs, metrics, hierarchies, and business definitions.
• Establish and enforce data standards and consistency across platforms.
• Data Governance & Quality
• Implement robust data governance frameworks covering: Data quality rules and monitoring, Data lineage and traceability, Data cataloging and metadata management.
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner closely with: Network Engineering & Operations teams, Enterprise Architecture, IT Service Management, Data Platform, BI, and AI teams, Business and Technology leadership.
• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Delivery & Execution
• Own and prioritize the product backlog for network data initiatives.
• Manage dependencies across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality data products.
• Leadership & Innovation
• Lead and mentor a team of Network Data Analysts, Engineers, and SMEs.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and modernization of data pipelines.
• Promote adoption of advanced analytics, AI/ML, and data-driven decision making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in: Network data, telecom systems, or infrastructure analytics, Data product ownership, data management, or data engineering.
• Strong understanding of: Network technologies (WAN, SD-WAN, Cloud networking, Telco systems), Data platforms (Data Lakes, Warehouses, ETL pipelines).
• Experience with tools such as: NMS, CMDB, ITSM platforms, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), Data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AI/ML applications in network analytics.
• Experience defining enterprise data models and governance frameworks.
• Strong Agile / Scrum product ownership experience.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
