Network/Systems Administrator

Our client is seeking a well-rounded Systems + Network Administrator comfortable supporting virtual (VMware), network (Cisco), firewall (WatchGuard), and email (M365) environments. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of network/systems administration experience and must be local to the greater Grand Rapids, MI area. VMware version 7, Cisco 9000 series routers (with some Nexus), and firewall experience outside of WatchGuard are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Basic network/systems administration
• Routing and switching
• Firewall rule creation

Requirements

• 3+ years of network/systems administration experience
• Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field + 3 years of work experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Local to the greater Grand Rapids, MI area

Skills

• VMware (version 7)
• Cisco (9000 series routers, some Nexus)
• Firewalls (WatchGuard or equivalent experience)
• Microsoft 365 (email administration)

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hour. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
