Contract position providing hands-on infrastructure support in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
About the role
This role oversees daily network and systems operations and helps deliver infrastructure projects. It is ideal for someone who can balance technical execution and collaboration across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Direct infrastructure support (network and systems) and administration across multiple locations, ensuring stable and reliable operations.
- Work with enterprise IT partners to roll out shared technology standards, company-wide initiatives, and operational improvements.
- Lead infrastructure projects from initial planning through implementation, testing, and post-deployment support.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, VMware platforms, and workstation systems.
- Oversee backup, recovery, and system availability processes, including support for enterprise backup tools such as Commvault.
- Support network connectivity by troubleshooting switches, wireless infrastructure, routing, and related access issues.
- Contribute to security, compliance, and security improvement efforts across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network/systems administration and infrastructure support.
- Strong background managing networks, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Windows 10 environments.
- Experience administering VMware and supporting both physical and virtual server infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switching protocols, IP routing, wireless access points, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise backup and recovery platforms; Commvault experience is preferred.
- Ability to lead infrastructure initiatives and coordinate technical work across multiple locations.
