Network Security Associate | New Grad

About the role

The Information Security Services team at Susquehanna International Group is responsible for managing and supporting various preventative cyber security controls. This role involves monitoring and managing a growing set of network-based cyber security controls, responding to issues and requests, interfacing with business units, collaborating with engineers, developing automation and scripting skills, and working on a global team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage network-based cyber security controls, including firewalls, network access control lists, and web proxies
• Respond to issues and requests, investigating and troubleshooting as required
• Interface with various lines-of-business to support connectivity to other sites, third parties, and exchanges
• Collaborate with engineers and technical sponsors to assist in the implementation and ongoing support of new solutions and develop new skills
• Work with and learn from an expanding global set of security practitioners
• Develop automation and scripting skills to support management and monitoring of the environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Networking & Systems Administration, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline
• Strong technical understanding of networking and network security concepts as well as cyber security fundamentals
• Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting/automation experience
• Solid communication skills with the ability to explain security concepts to audiences regardless of their technical proficiency
• Client/Endpoint and cloud security experience is a plus
