Network Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Analyzes architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs.
- Interface with Engineering, Operations and Network Planning organizations to serve and support proper designs needed to simplify and modernize the legacy network.
- Track monthly Engineering and Operations progress to ensure progress is being made to achieve Open For Sales, Copper Migration and Switch shutdown targets.
- Sharing progress with leaders and other stakeholders with dashboards and reports.
Must Have Skills
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking
- Ability to assess network topology and identify consolidation opportunities
- Cost-benefit analysis — evaluating which sites/circuits to consolidate and when
- Scenario planning — modeling different consolidation sequences and their impact
- Network & Infrastructure Knowledge
- Deep understanding of network architecture (WAN, LAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, circuits)
- Familiarity with facility types — data centers, comms rooms, edge sites
- Understanding capacity planning and service dependencies
- Data & Inventory Management
- Ability to work with network inventory systems and asset registers
- Identifying gaps, redundancies, and rationalization opportunities in circuit/equipment data
- Proficiency in Excel/data tools for modeling and reporting

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Business or equivalent experience
Pay Transparency
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $59.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law.
