Network Planner with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and support enterprise network architectures across LAN, WAN, wireless, and hybrid environments.
• Perform network planning, traffic analysis, capacity forecasting, and performance optimization.
• Develop technical documentation, implementation plans, and network design packages.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.
• Support network modernization efforts, technology upgrades, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of network engineering experience
• Strong experience with network architecture, planning, and performance management
• Experience supporting secure, highly available enterprise environments
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility or current polygraph preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting government, defense, intelligence, or other highly regulated programs
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, JNCIP, Security+
• Knowledge of SDN, network automation, cloud networking, hybrid infrastructure
• Experience leading network modernization initiatives and mentoring junior engineers
