Network Intelligence Intern - San Francisco Hub (NY-based) | Graduate - Summer 2027
About the role
Endeavor’s San Francisco Hub connects global entrepreneurs to the Bay Area’s capital, customers, talent, and ideas. The hub’s relationships with investors, operators, corporate partners, and AI‑ecosystem builders currently live in spreadsheets, inboxes, and individual memories, with no single record or clear ownership. The intern will design and stand up the SF Hub’s Network Operating System—a Salesforce‑native data model, segmented ecosystem map, matching layer, and reporting framework that can become a global pattern for Endeavor’s hubs in Singapore, Dubai, and London.
Responsibilities
- Design or review the Hub’s Network Data Model: define core objects (person record, relationship owner, invitation) and implement a Salesforce‑native model using Campaigns and Campaign Members.
- Map and segment the Bay Area network: create a structured map of investors, operators, corporate and platform partners, Endeavor alumni, and the AI ecosystem, assigning clear coverage and ownership.
- Build the matching layer: develop a defensible method for recommending Bay Area contacts to visiting entrepreneurs based on sector, stage, market, and need, and define the review process.
- Document a global pattern: produce a playbook for other Endeavor hubs, pressure‑test it with at least three offices of varying size and maturity, and incorporate necessary flexibility.
- Instrument and report on network health: define metrics (coverage, depth, activation, reciprocity), baseline them, and build recurring reporting views for HQ and directors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate student status, ideally a rising second‑year MBA; candidates in data science, public policy, information systems, or related fields are encouraged.
- Background in Business Administration, Management, Strategy, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
- Experience designing or working inside a CRM or relationship database; Salesforce experience is a strong plus.
- Comfort with data modeling: ability to translate messy real‑world processes into objects, fields, and relationships.
- Advanced spreadsheet fluency and familiarity with light scripting or no‑code automation (Apps Script, SQL, Python, or similar).
- Ability to conduct structured stakeholder interviews with senior colleagues across regions and translate insights into design decisions.
- Genuine interest in venture capital, startup ecosystems, and network‑based value creation.
- Strong written and organizational skills for creating documentation relied upon by others.
- Commitment to data hygiene and governance; ability to work within enterprise data policies.
- Comfort working in a multilingual, global, cross‑cultural environment.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States for the 2027 year.
