Sev1Tech is searching for a Network Integration System Engineer. The Network Integration System Engineer will support the implementation, operation, and improvement of meshONE-Terrestrial (T), a scalable, resilient, cyber‐secure data transport network supporting United States Space Force (USSF) and Air Force (USAF) missions. meshONE‐T is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an end‐to‐end network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains. Overview/Job Responsibilities Support the assembly, integration, testing and installation of network communications systems, including LAN/WAN systemsMaintain and update network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and inventory listsSupport updates to all documents when there is change in the transport design and/or technologies and collaborate with all stakeholders to test all related systems and processes to verify that the systems meet requirements and can host applications with no degradation to performance or securityUtilize software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose problems and factors affecting network performanceCommunicate effectively with other project groups such as cybersecurity, network, operations, and project management teams to assist with the installation and troubleshooting of system componentsWork closely with senior network engineers and other IT staff on network projects and initiatives, including upgrades and migrationsCoordinate with Model Based Systems Engineering team to import design data into Cameo software model for review Salary Range: $95,000 to $105,000 Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of related job experienceBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other similar degree; without a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years’ experience will be requiredFamiliarity with or willingness to learn about engineering documentation, such as Rack Layout Drawings, Room Layout Drawings, Interconnect Diagrams, Topology Diagrams and Hardware/Software ListsStrong oral and written skills able to talk with technical subject matter experts, government civilians, and military personnel of varying rank Excellence in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc) Ability to quickly learn new software applications Travel: 10% to Sev1Tech and Government customer locations, as required Security Clearance: Secret Desired Qualifications Applicable experience using engineering documentation softwarePrior military experience is a plusWillingness to help in many areas and seek opportunities to learn new skillsCustomer-facing people skillsProblem-solving and multi-tasking abilitiesPatience and attention to detail
