Network Installer - III

Location: New Berlin, WI (Onsite). 2 days in office per week, depending on field requirements for outages and break-fix. Significant amount of driving in the field. Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and test telecommunications and associated transport equipment per specifications and operational procedures.
• Perform testing and diagnostic procedures on equipment according to published equipment standards, including Physical Layer and Logical Layer platforms.
• Map, grow, and/or test transmission equipment including FlashWave, Nortel Classic, Digital Cross Connect, etc.
• Map routers, bridges, multiplexers, concentrators, etc.
• Create or perform migrations to new and existing Carriers such as PVC/EVCs on various routers; utilize remote test systems to isolate and resolve continuity problems.
• Coordinate the test and turn-up of service with all involved providers until the customer's service is up and working.
