About the role
The Network Infrastructure Specialist II position is responsible for managing and maintaining the state’s network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security of data.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and monitor network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot network issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on network equipment and software updates.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Document procedures and best practices for network operations and administration.
