About The Role
AI is only as good as the experts who train it. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build next-generation security intelligence — and we need seasoned infrastructure security practitioners to make it happen. If you've spent years in the trenches defending real enterprise environments, this is your opportunity to put that hard-won knowledge to work shaping how AI understands, reasons about, and responds to cybersecurity threats.

- Review firewall, EDR, SIEM, and infrastructure security cases — identifying what went wrong, why, and what the business impact was
- Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data
- Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI-driven security systems
- Translate complex technical findings into clear, structured explanations that AI models can learn from
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles
- Familiar with the full enterprise security stack: firewalls, EDR, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and beyond
- Deep understanding of how real organizations deploy, operate, and sometimes fail with security controls
- Able to clearly articulate security issues, root causes, and their real-world business impact
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable working asynchronously
Nice to Have
- Experience in threat hunting, incident response, or red/blue team operations
- Exposure to cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS Controls
