About the Role
The Infrastructure Team is tackling key problems such as:
- Building the networks that power AI infrastructure, including enterprise, campus, and wireless networks across gigawatt data center sites, offices, and labs.
- Delivering wireless coverage in the hardest RF environments—dense rows of liquid-cooled racks and active construction zones.
- Connecting sites from bare dirt to full production, using satellite backhaul on day one and scaling to enterprise-grade campus networks.
Responsibilities
- Own enterprise and wireless network design and deployment across data center campuses, offices, and labs as a single repeatable reference design, with version-controlled configs.
- Deliver full wireless coverage in white space, accounting for severe RF interference from dense liquid-cooled racks (potentially requiring an AP on every row).
- Run predictive and on-site RF surveys, then validate coverage post-installation, as rack-filled halls alter RF dynamics.
- Build security posture for active construction campuses, including WPA3-class wireless, clean segmentation between production, controls, contractor, and guest traffic, and disciplined credential/SSID hygiene.
- Stand up interim construction-phase connectivity (e.g., Starlink-class satellite backhaul) and drive cutover to permanent enterprise networks.
- Coordinate with data center design, deployment, IT, and security teams to integrate enterprise and wireless requirements into site designs proactively.
Requirements
- Experience designing and deploying enterprise campus networks end-to-end (wired and wireless), from requirements gathering through turnover to operations.
- Deep knowledge of 802.11 fundamentals: RF propagation, channel planning, and roaming behavior, with experience running predictive and on-site RF surveys using professional tooling.
- Experience building NAC, segmentation, and guest/contractor access that withstands real-world abuse.
- Experience delivering networks in industrial, construction, or RF-hostile environments, adapting designs as needed.
- Ability to troubleshoot from packet capture and spectrum analysis, identifying root causes with trace evidence.
- Habit of version-controlled configs and documented designs to ensure seamless handoffs.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Satellite or fixed-wireless backhaul experience.
- Wi-Fi design certifications.
- Enterprise routing and switching automation.
- Experience running networks alongside OT and BMS environments.
Pay
Compensation range: $154K – $242K.
