Network Engineer (Senior)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support large-scale network modernization initiatives involving next-generation broadband and fiber technologies. This role will play an important part in designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure while helping ensure the scalability and reliability of critical communications systems. It’s an excellent opportunity for a network professional who enjoys working with complex infrastructure and contributing to major technology transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise network architectures, including network hardware, software, connectivity, and communications technologies.
- Assess and optimize existing network environments to identify performance, capacity, and scalability gaps and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Configure and support routers, switches, security appliances, and other network infrastructure components.
- Establish and maintain network security, connectivity, access, firewall, and intrusion-detection controls while testing and tuning security technologies.
- Lead network services through planning, architecture, implementation, testing, and ongoing optimization.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in network engineering, network architecture, or a closely related infrastructure role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of DOCSIS, including experience supporting DOCSIS-based network environments.
- Experience with D-POE (DOCSIS Provisioning over Ethernet) systems and related network technologies.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, topology, routing, and network infrastructure design.
- Knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls, along with experience configuring network hardware and software.
