Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 4 days Onsite / 1 Remote) Night/Evening Shift (First 1-2 weeks: standard business hours for onboarding/training; after ramp-up: evening schedule, typically starting 5:00-6:00 PM; most work during scheduled maintenance windows 10:00 PM-5:00 AM CT; little to no weekend work, Friday evenings generally avoided) Ongoing contract (renewed in 6-month intervals) $45 - $55 per hour (DOE) About The Role Brooksource is seeking a Network Engineer III to join the Enterprise Network Engineering team in Charlotte, NC, supporting a Fortune 500 telecommunications organization. This ongoing contract role, primarily onsite with some remote flexibility, focuses on maintaining and modernizing large-scale, highly available network infrastructure critical to business operations and millions of customers. As a Network Engineer, you will partner with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to execute network upgrades, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and improve the performance, resiliency, and reliability of enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless environments. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on technical work, solving complex networking challenges, and contributing to high-impact infrastructure initiatives. You will work a night/evening shift schedule, with flexibility provided and minimal weekend work expected.
