Responsibilities
- Support implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls across multi-vendor environments (e.g., Cisco, Juniper)
- Maintain network performance and availability; identify and resolve connectivity, latency, and packet loss issues
- Implement and support VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and basic network security controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network changes, upgrades, and infrastructure projects
- Travel to remote locations to lead network installations and perform independent troubleshooting
- Provide status updates to program personnel
- Support activities outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Perform additional tasks as required by the program
Requirements
- CCNA or JNCIA certification required within 30 days of start
- Hands-on experience with network design, development, and testing methodologies
- Understanding of OSI Model and TCP/IP
- Experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
- Network traffic analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting skills
- Firewall experience (Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Experience with UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs
- Experience with multi-vendor routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper), WAN optimization, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment
- Strong communication skills, including writing and presentation using Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Visio)
Qualifications
- FoundationNSX, vSAN, and Aria Experience
- Understand standard DOD security practices such as, STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts

Pay
Estimated Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $125,000 USD
