Network Engineer I

About the Role

Execute network operations including configuration and analysis of customer circuits. Perform real-time circuit redesign to restore connectivity during outages and maintenance. Work with internal and external customers to ensure maximum network availability. Proactively monitor network alarms across platform-specific network management tools. Perform various change management tasks, including hardware replacement and software configurations. Document outages, degradations, isolations, escalations, and resolutions using incident management applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and less than 2+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift work environment
• General understanding of both Transport and IP network topologies
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility
