Network Engineer, Foundation & Support
About the role
thenwith that prose. Responsibilities: list bullet points from responsibilities section. Need to extract each responsibility line. The responsibilities block after "Network Engineer, Foundation & Support Responsibilities:" includes many sentences separated by line breaks? We'll parse. Responsibilities lines: - Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency through tooling improvements in the pre-deployment domain for Backbone, Edge, and Optical - Collaborate with internal and cross functional partner teams to define and automate optimal workflows for network pre-deployment activities - Automation and integration into existing tooling eco-system which involves planning and pre-deployment activities (such as design bootstrapping, engineering design package generation, bill of materials (BOM) creation etc) - Proactively find gaps that impact multiple teams/orgs, come up with the execution plan, drive the project, and influence other teams to implement initiatives - Work with partner teams, understand their challenges, help them find a solution natively or lead effort working with cross functional teams to deliver systems/platforms/tooling - Work with developers and program managers to design and prioritize tooling enhancements and fixes - Help with roadmapping to identify and address key challenges - Help with recruiting and onboarding of new members to the team. Help them by mentoring and assuring their quick ramp up within our environment - Perform detailed troubleshooting and engage with cross functional teams to fix system/tooling issues - Drive requirements with cross functional teams to align our internal tooling efforts - Help make the people around you move faster by identifying issues slowing the team down and driving changes to address them We'll put each as
Pay
then$162,000/year to $227,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
We should not include schedule. We should not include About Meta boilerplate? The "About Meta:" section is descriptive about company; could be considered part of About the role? The rule: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. The About Meta paragraph is substantive but not about the role; still we could include it under About the role or maybe separate section? The instruction: use headings for section headings (About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It didn't mention "About Meta". So we should incorporate that description into About the role perhaps, or we could omit? The rule says preserve ALL substantive information; we cannot discard it. So we need to include it somewhere. The best fit is About the role section, as it describes the company and role context. We'll embed that paragraph in About the role. Thus About the role will contain two paragraphs: first about team and role, second about Meta description. We must not repeat job title as heading; we already not. We must not include Job ID etc. We must not include application instructions, EEO boilerplate etc. The posting includes EEO statement at end; we must remove that. Also remove "Please note that Meta may leverage artificial intelligence..." etc. Also remove accommodation line. Also remove "Learn more about benefits at Meta." maybe keep as part of Benefits? But we are not creating Benefits section; we could keep that sentence in Pay? No, it's about benefits. Since we are not making Benefits section, we could incorporate that sentence into Pay? Might be odd. Better to include a Benefits section only if specific benefits listed; we have none. So we should discard that sentence as it's not specific benefit info. However rule says preserve ALL substantive information; but "Learn more about benefits at Meta." is not substantive detail; it's a referral. Might be considered boilerplate. I'd say it's safe to drop. We must also remove the line about compensation details: "Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable." That's substantive about compensation; we could incorporate into Pay section maybe as clarification. We'll add that as a second sentence in Pay
. Thus Pay
will contain: "$162,000/year to $227,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable." Now produce HTML. About the role
Meta is looking for an engineer to join the Edge and Network Services team. This team is responsible for processes and systems for deploying and supporting one of the world's largest, most complex, and robust networks. Automation is the key to meeting our demands; you will be responsible for executing on our vision for designing, deploying, and operating our networks supporting AI/ML applications. As a member of this team, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of global networking at Meta.
Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. When Facebook launched in 2004, it changed the way people connect. Apps like Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp further empowered billions around the world. Now, Meta is moving beyond 2D screens toward immersive experiences like augmented and virtual reality to help build the next evolution in social technology. People who choose to build their careers by building with us at Meta help shape a future that will take us beyond what digital connection makes possible today—beyond the constraints of screens, the limits of distance, and even the rules of physics.

Check for any missing info: we omitted "About Meta" duplicate; we included it. We omitted EEO etc. Good. Now output only HTML fragment.
