Network Engineer

About the role

World Wide Technology, LLC has an opportunity available for a Network Engineer to support our Government Services team. This position will focus on Engineering and support within a customer's environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of support for network-related issues, responding to tickets, alerts, and basic incident reports.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of connectivity issues, hardware faults, and basic configuration errors.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and health using standard monitoring tools.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 teams with appropriate documentation.
• Assist with routine network maintenance tasks, such as port changes, device reboots, and patch cable replacements.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and changes in ticketing systems.
• Support end users with basic networking questions and connectivity needs.

Required qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance or above
• 5+ years of relevant network engineering or architecture experience
• CCNA, ITIL, or ITSM certification
• Possesses an industry-recognized advanced networking certification

Alexandria, VA (fully on-site)

Pay

$140,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually
