About the Role

World Insurance Associates is looking for a Network Engineer to help us monitor, implement and maintain our network infrastructure. This is a hybrid position located in Iselin, NJ.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install, monitor and configure network and internet systems.
  • Implement configuration changes on network components: routers, switches, access points.
  • Install new software/firmware, perform system upgrades, and conduct general maintenance.
  • Drive Continual Service Improvement through the evaluation of system errors and inefficiencies.
  • Assist with documenting infrastructure environments, processes, procedures, test plans, and project plans.
  • Provide operational support for internal customers on varying support issues.
  • Help ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Unbox, configure, rack and stack network equipment.
  • Manage and maintain Zoom phone and Zoom Contact Center.
  • Zoom Phone administration involves managing user licenses, call routing, phone numbers, and device provisioning within the Zoom web portal. Key duties include configuring call queues, auto-receptionists, and voice policies to ensure 99.999% uptime, while also managing compliance, SMS settings, and reviewing analytics to optimize communication flow and user productivity.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a medium environment (greater than 20 locations and 500+ employees).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Operating System experience for Palo Alto PanOS, IOS, Meraki, Windows, Linux.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Zoom Phone and Contact Center.
  • Knowledge of IPv4/6, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, STP, VTP, QOS, 802.1X, PKI, and the OSI Model.
  • Knowledge of Next Generation Firewall and Remote Access/VPN methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Wireshark, TCPdump, Syslog, Cisco Prime, and Visio.
  • Good communication, writing, and editing skills to transfer information to individuals involved in the development process.
  • Experience with site to site and point to site VPN's.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and maintain/install roof mounted wireless hardware.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and ability to travel regularly.
  • Up to 50% travel depending on operational activities.

Preferred

  • One or more certifications including Network +, CCNA, CCNP.

Pay

The base salary ranges from $100k to $120k, with bonus eligibility. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
