Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in a hands‑on contract role with strong potential for long‑term engagement. The position is critical for maintaining the stability, performance, and reliability of our enterprise network infrastructure while driving continuous improvements across networking platforms and operations. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Cisco technologies, can independently troubleshoot complex network issues, and enjoys balancing operational support with strategic improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on network support, including day‑to‑day troubleshooting, break‑fix activities, and issue resolution.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Perform root cause analysis for network outages, performance issues, and recurring incidents.
• Support and enhance Cisco‑based networking environments, including routing, switching, and software‑defined networking solutions.
• Leverage automation and monitoring tools to improve network reliability and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and recommend improvements to network architecture and processes.
• Work independently to investigate complex technical challenges and drive issues through resolution.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to support organizational initiatives and business objectives.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting processes, and technical recommendations.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $35.00 – $55.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent factors.
