Network Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join Logicalis’s dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining modern enterprise network infrastructures for both national and international clients. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping powerful LAN, data center, WAN, and cloud networks that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work closely with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure the successful execution of complex network projects, from initial technical conception through to implementation, documentation, and handover.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of practical experience in enterprise network implementation or similar infrastructure projects
• Extensive knowledge of routing, switching, and network design principles
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: datacenter networking, WAN and site networking, service provider networks, cloud networking, network security, load balancing
• Prominent track record of taking technical responsibility in projects and independently implementing complex network environments
• Structured, solution-oriented, and customer-focused working style
• Fluent in German at least at C1 level and confident in using English in project environments

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and optimize complex enterprise network infrastructures to meet client requirements
• Support customer projects from technical conception through implementation, documentation, and handover
• Design and realize modern campus, datacenter, and WAN architectures, ensuring seamless ongoing development
• Analyze existing network environments to identify improvements and develop scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions
• Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and project teams, providing technical expertise and guidance
• Ensure network security, performance, and reliability across all projects
• Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance service quality
