Network Engineer
Job Summary
Responsible for the troubleshooting and maintenance of a large-scale enterprise networks focusing on break/fix incident management. Must be able to support multiple routing and switching protocols as a part of the Technical Operations Center (TOC). The Network Engineer provides guidance to the technical support teams engaged in troubleshooting of hardware and software that support a wide range of systems. Must be proficient in the use of network management platforms and troubleshooting tools, such as protocol analyzers. Attends training, conferences, and seminars as needed to obtain specific hardware/software knowledge. Understands a systems approach to problem solving and process improvement involving staff. Ability to plan, architect, and document enterprise class solutions for future network growth. Possess a fundamental working knowledge of operating systems and software currently used throughout Sanford Health. Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required in networking, computer science, information systems, or related technology field. Associate's degree with two years of equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.
- Three years experience or advanced certifications in networking.
- Advanced knowledge of network routing and switching hardware, as well as network security equipment and best practices.

Full time, 8 Hours - Day Shifts, 40.00 Weekly Hours.

$32.50 - $52.00 Salary Range.
