Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Cisco routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure across corporate, retail, and distribution environments.
  • Administer and maintain Palo Alto firewall platforms, including policy management, VPNs, and network security configurations.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity utilizing enterprise network monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, performance, and security issues across the enterprise.
  • Participate in network infrastructure projects, upgrades, deployments, and lifecycle replacement initiatives.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Cisco routing and switching infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless networking technologies.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving network performance, availability, and connectivity issues in production environments.
  • Experience implementing network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities within established change management processes.
  • Experience utilizing network monitoring and management tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Technical certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSA, PCNSE, or equivalent.
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure networking and hybrid connectivity solutions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise wireless infrastructure and wireless controllers.
  • Experience with network automation and scripting technologies (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.).
  • Experience with network segmentation, access control, and security best practices.
  • Experience supporting large multi-site or retail environments.
