Network Engineer

About the role

Piper Companies is looking for a Network Engineer to join a premier healthcare organization in Columbia, Maryland. This is a long term opportunity with a great hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work in conjunction with multiple project team members to refine project-specific requirements and meet project deliverables within the networking/UC space
• Assist with planning, design and implementation of large enterprise network (and at times unified communications) solutions to support the enterprise
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical design documentation for proposed and implemented solutions
• Routing/Switching administration (EIGRP and OSPF experience)
• Palo Alto NGFW administration/configuration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred
• 5 years of Network Engineering experience
• Knowledge of IP routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF
• Experience with Cisco ACI, Meraki and ISE configuration and administration
• Experience with Cisco 4110 FMC NGFW, SilverPeak SD-WAN and Zscaler ZIA is preferred

Pay

$100,000 - $120,000

Schedule

Hybrid schedule (3x a week onsite)
