Cisco route / switch experience
- Configuration and troubleshooting of L2, L3, OSPF, route maps, HSRP, Spanning Tree, VRF, GRE tunnels
- Configuration of vEdges and cEdges leveraging pre-defined templates
- Troubleshooting of vEdges and cEdges
- Creation of configs from pre-defined templates for vEdge and cEdges
- Use of VManage and TACACS
- Experience with remote consoles, VPNs, and jump boxes
- Experience with business/enterprise WAN circuits
- Experience bringing up and troubleshooting carrier equipment
SDWAN experience
- Deployment and configuration of vEdges and cEdges
- Ability to troubleshoot vEdges and cEdges
Technical skills
- Working knowledge of VManage and TACACS
- Experience with remote access tools
- Experience with business/enterprise WAN circuits
- Attention to detail and willingness to follow established processes
- Willingness to stop, think, and ask when encountering non-standard situations
Nice to have
- Understanding of BGP, OMP, policy routing, SilverPeak, Fortigate
- Meraki route/switch experience, including Meraki Console
- Advanced troubleshooting of Cisco and SilverPeak SDWAN environments
- Experience troubleshooting multi-VRF environments
- CCNA, CCNP certification
