Network Engineer

About the role

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Network Engineer to support a large enterprise during a large-scale data migration, developing and implementing NextGen Networking Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand network and compliance requirements, translating business needs into functional build documents and network diagrams.
• Support the build and deployment of new infrastructure, server integrations, automation, and SDN solutions.
• Identify the impact of new technologies and workflows on existing infrastructure and business processes across the enterprise, addressing potential risks with proactive solutions.
• Coordinate work efforts across network operations, network security, development, and server teams to ensure connectivity and understanding of requirements.
• Analyze design documentation to ensure network compliance and audit readiness.
• Troubleshoot and assist in outage response.

Requirements

• Experience working in enterprise network environments, supporting Cisco networks and server integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Software Defined Networks (SDN).
