About the role
We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting our enterprise network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Completing day-to-day operational functions and troubleshooting network issues
- Implementing solutions to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment
- Maintaining and monitoring network infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and compliance
- Performing regular upgrades and implementing enhancements to maintain optimal performance, high availability, and seamless connectivity across the US and South America
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide network solutions that align with organizational objectives
- Configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitoring network performance and proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal uptime, throughput, and latency
- Supporting and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, high availability, and optimum performance
- Ensuring network compliance meets our networking standards
Qualifications
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices at a low level, including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
- Knowledge of network protocols such as Ethernet, TCP, IP, VLANs, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve network issues
- Understanding of network security principles, including access control lists, firewall policies, and VPN configurations
- Experience in working with low-level network protocols and technologies, such as DHCP, DNS, NAT, and IP addressing
- Ability to perform basic network device configurations, including firmware upgrades, port configurations, and VLAN assignments
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve network issues
- Excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate records of network configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting steps
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, provide technical support to end users, and explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner

The listed salary for this position is $80,000-$100,000 annually.
