Network Engineer
About the role
A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions. This opportunity requires an experienced network engineer who can develop the exact network needed by our client. You will support the nation’s defense by developing specialized infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues, and increasing security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the nation’s defense by developing specialized infrastructure
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for implementing new network connections, IP address management, maintenance schedules, and recovery procedures
- Manage, configure, and optimize transport circuits and routes
- Design and troubleshoot secure networks
- Optimize client operations and modernization
- Apply expertise in administration, routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, and system interoperability
- Work as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects
- Make an impact on national security missions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting network switching and routing
- 3+ years of experience designing and troubleshooting secure networks
- Experience managing, configuring, and optimizing transport circuits and routes
- Knowledge of routing protocols and services, such as BGP, NAT, or IPsec
- TS/SCI clearance
- Security+ Certification
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
Skills
- Experience with AWS connectivity
- Experience with Microsoft Azure connectivity
- Experience using VMWare vSphere or Horizon
- Experience working in SAPF and SCIF environments
- Knowledge of managing TACACS+ and RADIUS
- Ability to create and manage network support documentation
- CCNA or CCNP Certification
- Cloud Certifications, including Cloud+, AWS, or Microsoft Certifications

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Our work model supports collaboration and engagement, with employees expected to have their cameras on during meetings. Depending on the position, you may work remotely, in a hybrid setting, or on-site.
