Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance of network equipment (switches, firewalls, and load balancers)
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
• Document network configurations and diagrams
• Provide technical support to system operators
• Assist in implementing STIG compliance

Requirements

• Knowledge of TCP/IP Model, Routing, Switching, Multi-chassis groups - Multi-Link Aggregation Domain or Switch Aggregation Groups, Link Aggregation Control Protocol 802.3ad, VLANs and VLAN Trunking (802.1q & 802.3ac), Network Time Protocol
• Troubleshooting Access Control Lists, Firewalls, Security Zone, Security Policies, Network Address Translation, Load Balancing, Virtual Servers, Server Pool, Health Checks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science or information technology, 10+ years of experience
• Master’s in computer science or information technology, 5+ years of experience
• Current TS/SCI with CI polygraph clearance

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000 to $167,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the scope of the position, relevant experience, education, certifications, internal equity, customer contractual requirements, security clearance requirements, and other legitimate business considerations.
