Network Engineer Associate/Remote

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network devices.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic routing/switching issues.
• Support network installations, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
• Perform network health checks and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
• Assist senior network engineers with network projects and implementations.
• Document network configurations, changes, incidents, and troubleshooting activities.
• Work with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve network-related issues.
• Follow network security, change-management, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and VPNs.
• Knowledge of routing and switching concepts.
• Hands-on exposure to Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Basic understanding of firewalls and network security.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
