About the role
This position is posted at 3 levels based on experience: Associate Level, Mid-level, Senior level. Candidates will be aligned to the appropriate level based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Maintains data, voice or video network hardware and systems; investigates and resolves network and hardware issues; researches, analyzes, isolates and resolves errors.
- Provides technical support and input on network design issues.
- Assists in problem resolution.
- Participates in evaluation and testing of data, voice or video networking technologies to establish their potential use.
- Builds and maintains LAN, WAN, WLAN, or Voice Systems in accordance with specified requirements.
- Analyzes data, voice or video network documentation and assists in communicating to management regarding the current operational status of networks.
- Contributes to appropriate testing routines or scripts.
- Designs, implements and maintains LAN, WAN, WLAN, or Voice Systems in accordance with specified requirements.
- Provides input to methods and procedures for new data, voice or video technologies to ensure high performance.
- Supports client expectations and balances the needs of organization and client to ensure satisfaction for all relevant parties.
Requirements
- Required Education and Experience:
- H.S. Diploma is required. (Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline is preferred)
- 1 year of experience in data networks working with multiple vendor platforms is preferred. (i.e. Extreme, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, F5, or Microsoft)
- Experience working with network management software is preferred. (i.e. SolarWinds, Whatsup Gold, AKIPS, or Panorama)
- Experience working with automation and scripting languages such as Python, Powershell, Perl, or Ansible is preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare Information Services setting is preferred.
- Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:
- Extreme ECS/EDS, CCNA, JNCIA, AZ-700, Network+
Qualifications
- Required Education and Experience:

- 3 year of experience in data networks working with multiple vendor platforms is required. (i.e. Extreme, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, F5, or Microsoft)
- Experience working with network management software is required. (i.e. SolarWinds, Whatsup Gold, AKIPS, or Panorama)
- Experience working cloud network providers such as Azure or AWS is preferred.
- Experience working with automation and scripting languages such as Python, Powershell, Perl, or Ansible is preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare Information Services setting is preferred.
- Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:
- Extreme ECS/EDS, CCNA, JNCIA, AZ-700, or F5-CA is preferred.
Skills
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure components including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
- Experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds, Whatsup Gold, AKIPS, or Panorama.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages like Python, Powershell, Perl, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of healthcare IT standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The position offers a hybrid schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
